- The famous Monastery of Stavros (Holy Cross)
standing in the centre of the village. The Monastery contains old icons, excellent
wood carvings and other ecclesiastical objects of great interest.
- A 500 years old village house, now a museum,
preserving a picture of daily life many years ago.

- A stone-built old house with a wine presser
known as Linos - the first winery in Cyprus.
- An excursion to Troodos, a skiing resort in
the winter, is not to be missed as it offers you the opportunity to reach the highest
point in Cyprus. In the Summer you can enjoy its cooling beauty and in winter, its
white blanket of snow.
- Last but not least, you can take a short
drive to the popular mountain resorts of Platres, Lania and Phini - known for their
handicrafts and taste some "glygo" fruit reserved in syrup or drink some Cypriot
coffee offered by the locals.
